Judie Yuk Wah Chan

Judie Yuk Wah Chan practices in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, immigration law, commercial law, wills, powers of attorneys and estates and occasionally in family law. She speaks Cantonese and reads and writes Chinese.
In her immigration practice, Ms. Chan has successfully appeared before the immigration tribunals and prepared cases for the Federal Court. In her commercial practice, Ms. Chan is involved in complex business transactions including purchases and sales of businesses and negotiation of challenging commercial leases. In her residential practice, she has completed numerous purchase, sale and financing transactions. Her knowledge of wills, powers of attorney and estates provide her clients with well rounded professional services.
Ms. Chan was called to the Bar in 1979 in Ontario after receiving her law degree from the University of Ottawa. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association (Immigration Branch) and the Carleton County Law Association (past trustee for the Association )
In addition to her practice of law and her family, Ms. Chan has been involved in the community including pro bono work in the Chinese community, LEAF association and participation at many charity fund raising events.
